I am excited to share with you all, my small fabric haul and large pattern haul!! I went to Walmart a few days ago and spent a whooping total of $53.19!!! I love to save money!!! Also, just yesterday, JoAnn's had Simplicity patterns on sale for .99 cents!!! I believe this sale on their patterns last until the 13th, but don't quote me on that...but feel free to check out their website, http://www.joann.com/
Before I share with you my madness...I must share with you what I did! I visited three JoAnn's considering they placed a limit of 10 on the amount of patterns you can purchase in a single transaction. At one store, I gave my mother, who accompanied me on my 'deal of the day' haul, I gave her $10.00 to purchase the limit of ten, then I purchased ten in my transaction. Then, I went to the two other JoAnn's to get the remaining patterns on my list! At the end I will share with you the total amount of money I saved today!!! Oh life is so good!! Heck!! JoAnn's is even better putting on these AWESOME sales!!! :)
Oh, I forgot to mention, I visited http://www.simplicity.com/ to search for all the patterns I wanted...that way, I did not have to spend time flipping through the pattern books...I just walked in...straight to the pattern drawers and pulled what I wanted! easy peasy!!! Ok, without further ado....please enjoy!

| Walmart $7.97 per yard. This beautiful pink paisley print design fabric feels like a cross between lightweight denim and cotton. It is so super cute! I wish you guys could feel this!!! I only purchased one yard considering it was the last part of the bolt. :( |

| Walmart $3.44 per yard. This red beautiful paisley print cotton fabric is also super cute! Again, this was an 'end of the bolt' purchase...1 7/8 yards :( |

Although, I walked away with these beautiful pieces of fabric, I wish I had more time to dig through all the fabric they had...for that matter, I wish I had more money to purchase more fabric!! :) Now, all I need is ideas from you guys as to what I can make with this beautiful fabric!! I am trying my best not to become a hoarder of fabric...but when you find sales and save a ton of money...it is really hard not to become a hoarder! :)
Now, my JoAnn's pattern haul consists of 40 patterns, purchased from three different stores. As I said earlier, I saved a 'truckload' of money!!! An what hoarder in training would not like that! ;). Remember the following patterns all costs $.99 at JoAnn's during their sale! Now, my thought process and question to myself in selecting my patterns was, 'what patterns would I not purchase at regular price?' and 'what new sewing techniques would I like to try?'...so, for .99 cents, I went a little crazy!
I hope you enjoyed looking at these patterns as much as I enjoyed sharing with you and purchasing them!! Now for the GRAND FINALE! I purchased a total of 40 patterns and a couple of other items not mentioned...when I totaled all four receipts (two purchases at one store), I spend a total of $57.10 for a grand total of savings of $670.70!!! Woohoo!!! can you believe it???!!!! I saved almost a whooping $700.00 dollars!!! My goodness!! I LOVE SAVING MONEY!!!
Well, I hope you guys check out JoAnn's sales! They always have some great sales!!! I am now waiting for their Vogue patterns to go on sale!! Wink! Wink! ;) JoAnn's, I am waiting...
