With the first set of my sewing challenge behind me...I am ready to begin on the next set of patterns. If you have not read my first post regarding sewing through my commercial patterns I will give you a brief refresher. Because I have so many patterns (and many more purchased since the first post :)) I have decided to chose patterns, 5 patterns at a time, and sew through all of them and move on to the next five and so on until I have sewn through all of my patterns.
This time I chose the following 6 patterns:

This Simplicity 1362, I am making View B. I am using a black, blue, & white floral print cotton material that I think would look really pretty as a blouse.

I chose to make purse view F...the one the model has on her shoulder. I chose a red fleece material and a red paisley print cotton material for the lining. I will show you the fabrics chosen in future posts.

For this Butterick B5790 pattern, I am making view A the pullover blouse. I am going to be using a lightweight polyester material that has red and white floral designs...I will also post pictures when I am almost finished and in progress.
On this Simplicity 1809 pattern, I will be making view E, the pants only. I am making the pants out of the same pink denim-like material that I will be using as contrast in the blouse on Simplicity 1425. Yes, I will you keep you updated on the progress on all of my projects as I go along.
Once I chose the patterns I wanted to make with the fabrics that I already had on hand, I pulled out my Project Checklist form...upgraded it to include more information and filled out the notions that I would need to complete each project. This is how my checklist usually looks when I fill them out for each project.

This is how my checklist usually looks when I fill them out for each project.
Once I fill out all the information I need to complete each project, I then will pick out the fabrics, cut swatches of the fabric and staple it to the project checklist. I then will purchase necessary notions, threads, interfacing, bias tape, and anything else I need to complete each project. Each project and its parts are put into a gallon size ziplock bag to keep everything together. Then I will schedule another day, which I refer to as "Cutting Day" to cut all my projects out at once.
All of my projects have been cut out...I put everything back into the ziplock bags, to keep everything together, and now I am on to the next day that I like to refer to as "Construction Day". I will return to let you guys know my progress.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and/or comments!
Until next time! HAPPY SEWING!
