My New Serger Unboxing

Hi Creative People,

I have  a short post today. I am excited to share with you, my new Singer ProFinish Serger which was gifted to me yesterday!

I don't know if I have shared with you in the past, but a few months ago, my house was broken into and among a lot of items that were taken from our home, my old Serger was stolen also! Who does that?! Anyway, although I was crushed about everything else, I was more hurt when I realized my Serger was gone, because not only was it MINE, my pride and joy, it was how I made my money! (can you tell, I'm still a little salty?!) I had to revert back to just using the main machine to finish my edges until I was able to get another one.

Well, with all that aside, I have always wanted another Serger and my son's father, felt my pain and he opted to purchase another one for me and get me what I really wanted! I had been eyeballing this Serger since last year! he just purchased it for me yesterday from JoAnn's and I could not be happier! You know the feeling where you finally have that special item you have been drooling over for a while...YEP! THAT'S ME RIGHT NOW!

Here 'she' is just before I opened the box! I am so excited! the anticipation is killing me!!! I can't wait to get my hands on this machine!!

Before I remove the machine from the box.

Here is the Intro DVD, Owners Manuel, & Power Cord/Foot Pedal

Wow! It's awesome!
My old Serger didn't come with spools of Serger thread! It was threaded, but no thread spools were on the spindles! That's a nice addition! Well, here she is fresh out of the box! I can already tell she is going to be a workhorse! Not only from the reviews I read online at Amazon, but also because all Singer products/machines I have had, never let me down!

This is not a sponsored post! This item was purchased and gifted to me, I just wanted to share my joy! I will come back and do a follow up to let you all know my thoughts on this Serger, once I have worked with it for a while!

Until next time! Happy Sewing!
